Events
School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school event may include:
- school orientation days
- sports carnivals
- open day and school tours
- Harmony Week and Book Week events
- excursions and incursions
- performances, concerts or school productions
- fundraising, charity and community events
- award assemblies
- graduation and other celebrations.

Jump on the WPS Walking Bus!
On Monday and Friday mornings, we are have a WPS Walking Bus. We leave from the corner of Dalwood St and Green Hills Ave at 8:35am, and pick up along Green Hills Ave, Frewin Ave and then continue down Lawson Ave to school.
School staff will be wearing hi-vis vests so you can see us coming, all are welcome to join us including parents.
We walk at a child friendly pace so depending on how many students join us we can't give exact times for 'stops' but we will make sure we keep a keen eye out for our WPS students.
Hope to see you on the 'bus' on Monday and Fridays!!
